Thoricourt is part of the communal entity of Silly which, since the merger of the communes, actually includes the villages of Bassilly, Graty, Fouleng, Gondregnies, Hellebecq, Hoves, Silly and of course Thoricourt.

Walkers can, through the woods of the entity (its national forest covers an area of more than 300 hectares) and its rolling countryside, find all the friendliness of this entity recognized well beyond its borders but also attend its various cultural events. (Printemps Musical, Nuit de la Musique and Théâtre au Vert, ...) You can taste a moment of happiness there by walking from castle to castle (the entity has 6) and from village to village, and why not taste there, during a rest stop, a beer from the Silly brewery accompanied by local products.

On the outskirts of Silly, many tourist sites can be reached by bicycle: the magnificent landscaped park and 18th century castle of Attre, the hospital of Notre Dame à la Rose in Lessines, the archeology museum of Aubechies, the castle of Beloeil and many more.
